Description

This 135-page passport includes maps, a history of the state’s park and forest system, a brief description and memorable feature of each state park and forest, and additional online resources. Participants can track their visits to our public lands by initialing their book or having it stamped at the park or forest office. The Pennsylvania Passport not only guides people to our state parks and forests, but it also breaks down interest areas and challenges users to complete each area to receive recognition for their accomplishments with a special metal "dog tag" for the theme. (Download the form to claim your tag(s).) How many state parks and forests have you visited?

Have an older version of the Passport? You might be missing Park #121, so download and print this small insert for Washington Crossing Historic Park. It will print on an Avery 5163 label and fits nicely onto page 116 after Yellow Creek State Park.

Owners of older versions also need to download and print this insert for Parks #122, #123, and #124 (Big Elk Creek, Susquehanna Riverlands, and Vosburg Neck state parks). Each is sized to print "passport-sized" to cut and insert as you wish.

Also available is a directory of the state parks and forests offices with GPS coordinates. Get yours here(Please note that this directory does NOT include the three newest parks. A completely updated version will be prepared and provided. In the meantime, the GPS coordinates for each of the new parks can be found on the insert you'll download.)

If you enjoy the Pennsylvania State Parks and State Forests Passport, consider purchasing the Passport To Your National Parks® from Eastern National available at www.eparks.com.
