5th Annual Friends of Cowans Gap 5k THIS IS A TEST - NOT AN EVENT

Join the Friends of Cowans Gap for their 5th annual 5k run/walk!. The (mostly) park road course begins in Parking Lot #3 and travels through both campgrounds and the cabin colony. The roads are mostly flat with subtle inclines in some areas. We'll finish up near the food concession building at the beach.

The Friends of Cowans Gap is a nonprofit organization made of dedicated volunteers and community members with a goal to enhance the park. Proceeds from this event will go directly back to the park for educational programming, facility upgrades, and preservation of the natural resources.

A comfortable wicking fiber T-shirt (youth's and women's sizes, too) may be available for purchase on race day for an additional $10. PLEASE NOTE: "shirts run small."

Early Registration with T-shirt (before 3/25): $30   
Early Registration without T-shirt (before 4/1): $20 
Race Day Registration: $25

Children 13 and under run FREE  - but please complete the registration and release form.
