Donation to PPFF's 2018 Annual Appeal for Support

When I was young, my parents didn’t have a lot of money and we didn’t go on vacations, but we did drive from Pittsburgh to the state parks on the weekends to picnic, swim and fish—Shawnee, Prince Gallitzin, Moraine, Keystone — we went all over Western Pennsylvania. These are some of my fondest childhood memories.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  ~ Mary Ann

Does Mary Ann’s note resonate with you? Perhaps you also recall growing up in a Pennsylvania state park or forest. Or, maybe you discovered these great assets later in life as an adult. Either way, we are sure you will agree that the smell of pine, the feel of a gentle spring rain, and the wow of a sunset all leave a mark on your soul.

But a soon-to-be-released report on the critical maintenance needs of these precious places will paint a distressing picture of the unmet needs PPFF is working to correct. Please consider investing in the future of our parks and forests by making a donation TODAY to advance the conversation for long-term public investments in our state parks and forests.
